Thursday night Terry went to his very first play!! Brenda, Emily, Terry and I went to see Alice in Wonderland at the Gaffney Little Theater. It was a musical based on the Disney Version of the story. Emily enjoyed seeing a couple of friends from church in the play and Brenda saw a friend from school last year. Terry said he loved it. I think Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb were the best in the show. The white rabbit was cute too.
Here are the girls when we went to the Little Theater to see the Velveteen Rabbit. They both said they liked it even better than they did the Little Princess. (I liked the Little Princess better!!) :-) I know I'm the mama, but they look so pretty to me!! Emily seems to be growing up so fast. I think she looks much older than 7.

Well the play - The Little Princess - was wonderful!!! Both girls were surprised at how much better they thought the book was than the actual play. :-)
We were happy to find out that Brenda's friend - Briana - from our old church - was in the play. She was the beggar girl. It was good to see her - and her mama - Kathy - and brother and adorable sister!!
After the play, we ended our day in Spartanburg with a trip to the world famous - Beacon Restaurant!! It was so good!!!
Emily and I had chili cheeseburgers and lemonade and Brenda had a club sandwich and Beacon tea.
Of course, we brought Artie home a double cheese burger and fries!!! :-)
