ES&B went to their Good News Club today after school. Bobby told Terry that since he shared one of his suckers from GNC and Terry ate it - he is now OFFICIALLY a member of the GNC!!! It's so fun to watch them grow up and be sweet with each other.

Yeah!!! Brian got a job!!!! He's working as a host at Ruby Tuesday. I'm so happy for him. He has been looking for several weeks now. He had to go and buy all black clothes - shirt, pants, socks and shoes (size 15!!!) and started his training. Saturday he has his first night on his own and he will be closing. It's such a good feeling that he is growing up into a very productive young man. They are working him almost 40 hours this first week. The only bad thing is that his first couple of paychecks are already promised out to a speeding ticket and another ticket from his wreck (where he wasn't hurt at all - no worries). It's all a learning experience isn't it!!

$3 and you get a gallon of milk without having to get out of your car. When you pay it "moos" as the milk slides down!!

Office Depot

Okay, here's my deal for the day.

I just bought 10 reams of computer paper (500 sheets each) from Office Depot. I got two coupons and ended up getting each pack of paper for about $1.60 (they are over $3 at Wal-Mart). Plus they will be delivered free tomorrow. These are great for printing all my internet coupons I come across each day.

Here's how to do it. (I have no idea how long this deal will last)

1. Go to www.officedepot. com
2. Search and Add 345603 ( Price : $5.59 ) - Buy 10 of these
3. Search and Add 429266 ( Price : $0.29 ) - to reach the minimum $56 order amount for the least amount of money
4. Coupon Price : -$31.00 Code : 73649244
5. Coupon Price : -$10 off $25 Code : 44141777
Final Price : $16.25 Delivered

"i didn't need the paper clips, so I got a 0.49 highlighter for our homework box. My order came to 16.43 delivered."

Let me know if you get some too!

Such a bad sister in law!!!

I'm so terrible. Here Artie went and told his sister about my couponing and told me she was gonna call. She called and left a message on the answering maching (the one that NEVER seems to get checked!!). I just got her message last night (she called a week or two ago!!) I thought she must have decided she really wasn't interested and never called.

Anyway, sorry Glenda. Hope you have some time to check out the couponing links. They have been great and saved me a ton of money!!! Maybe Amber can check them out too!! I'm sure it would make Jerry happy like it has Artie.

Shriner's Hospital

I took Troy to the Shriner's Hospital in Greenville today. He had been referred by his pediatrician, after a football physical, to be checked for scoliosis. They staff at the hospital were great. The doctor ended up saying Troy was fine and for us to just keep an eye on his spine or if he had any type of back pain to bring him back. We were told to be prepared to be there for atleast six hours for our first visit. We were in and out in less than three hours.

I so admire what they do at that hospital. Every child is admitted and not charged a dime. The Shriner's have some things I disagree with, but they are so great to handicapped children!!! My daddy joined the Shriner's when I was younger after seeing how well they treated my cousin Karen (who had many surgeries there growing up).

Artie and I were praying that if Troy did have scoliosis, that it would keep him out of the military, but no such thing. The doctor did try and talk him away from the Marines to maybe the Rangers though! He told him that the benefits were the worst for the Marines than all the other branches of service. Troy wasn't moved at all!!! Guess I'll just keep praying about that one!!!!
